Delia McGee, President

Delia McGee graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Engineering Science and Concentrations in Systems Engineering and Applied Math. She completed the the McIntire Business Institute program through UVA in 2015. Prior to UVA, Delia was an Emma Bowen fellow, interning at HBO in New York.

She completed for rotations each summer in different technology departments across Technology Operations and Digital Products. She is now an Associate Business Analyst on the Media Technology Project Management team at HBO in New York.

Henry Greenidge, Vice President

Henry L. Greenidge is currently the Associate Director for External Affairs in the New York City Mayor’s Office where he manages legislation, press, and digital communications for the City’s climate programs. Prior to working for the City of New York, Henry held policy, budget, and legal roles in the Obama Administration at the Federal Communications Commission, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the White House Office of Management and Budget. Henry began his career in communications at Clear Channel Communications--now I Heart Media where he was an Account Executive in New York and Miami. Henry's corporate sponsor was WABC-TV in New York.  

Henry has been recognized by New York University as an Emerging Leader in Transportation, by City & State Magazine as a 2016 40 Under 40 Rising Star, and by the New York Urban League Young Professionals as 2017 Black Trailblazer.  In 2016, Henry completed the Coro Leadership New York Fellowship program, and he is currently a 2017 Fellow with the Council of Urban Professionals.  Henry holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Arts from the Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications at Hampton University.

Jillian Duran, Student Outreach Director

Jill Duran is a producer at KNSD in her hometown of San Diego, California. Prior to moving back to San Diego, she produced the 5 p.m. newscast for KBAK in Bakersfield, California. While there, she won numerous awards for her producing, including Golden Mikes and an Emmy. Jillian’s corporate sponsor was NBC San Diego. She graduated from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.

Malcolm Leverett, Treasurer

Malcolm Leverett graduated from Dartmouth College in 2014, where he majored in Economics and minored in Hispanic Studies. His corporate sponsor was Post-Newsweek Stations, now Graham Media Holdings. While in the Emma Bowen program, he rotated through the Station’s News, Sales/Research, and Finance departments. During his first year with the Foundation, he received the Scholars for America Award for his volunteer efforts in Immokalee, Florida. Malcolm currently works as a Credit Research Associate at the Vanguard Group in Philadelphia.

Alexandra Thompson, Advisory Council Director

Alexandra Thompson attended the University of Central Florida where she received her B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations with minors in Marketing and Writing & Rhetoric. She’s been with Graham Media Group since 2010, after she was selected as WKMG’s Emma Bowen Scholar moving from department to department during her summer and winter breaks. She official joined the team in 2013 as a Creative Services Producer and has played a pivotal role in shaping the stations promotional and community involvement efforts. Alexandra is pursuing her master’s degree at the University of Florida in Mass Communication specializing in Social Media while continuing her work at Graham Media.

Celeste Ho, Committee Liaison Director

Celeste Ho graduated from Cornell University in 2012 with a major in Communications and a minor in Business.  Her corporate sponsor was NBCUniversal in New York, where she completed rotations in the Business Development & Strategic Initiatives, Corporate Communications, Broadcast Operations and Media Production Partnership departments.  Since graduating, she has worked at Syfy and The Association of National Advertisers, and currently works in Marketing & Communications at PBS in Washington D.C.

Matthew Leverett, Communications Director

Matthew Leverett is currently a strategic communications consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington D.C. Prior to joining Booz Allen, he graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing. Matthew’s corporate sponsor as an Emma Bowen fellow was Comcast Cable LLC where he was a Business Development intern for multiple rotations of his internship experience. Matthew is passionate about bringing people of color together and leveraging his talents to better those around him.
