Free Speech TV (FSTV) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Donor Engagement Officer to manage annual leadership giving and matching partnerships for the organization.

What you'll be doing:

1. Managing a portfolio of about 250 leadership annual giving donors ($500 - $9,999), including working with the Development Director to establish a cohesive strategy and executing that strategy with the support of the Development Team through phone, email, mail, and text communications; special events (virtual and in-person); and FSTV's leadership matching gifts program

2. Building a strategy for, and soliciting corporate matching gifts

3. Contributing to the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of major gifts through regular collaboration with the Major Gifts Team

4. Contributing to all projects on the Development Team as needed

5. Promoting fundraising programs via on-air pitching (on TV and the Internet)


6. Some travel may be required


What you need to be successful:

-Dedication to social justice and a drive to affect change
-The ability to think strategically and creatively
-Experience working in fundraising, community organizing, campaigning, sales, etc.
-Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
-Ability to work cohesively on a small team in a small organization
-Confidence in asking for donations and building relationships with a diversity of people


Compensation:
The salary for this full time position is $60,000 to $65,000 per year. FSTV offers a generous benefits package, including health and dental insurance and employer-paid vision, life, short-term and long-term disability coverage. Additional benefits include nine (9) paid holidays, plus the week between Dec. 26 and Dec. 31; ten (10) to twenty (20) paid days off for employees, based on years served. Free Speech TV also provides paid Sick Leave, Personal Days, Parental Leave, Sabbatical Leave, and and a 401k plan.

This is a hybrid remote/in-person position. At this time, this position is expected to be in office 1 day per week and remote 4 days per week. Occasional extra office days may be required. Free Speech TV will provide necessary equipment to work from home, but you will need a space to work remotely 4 days a week. This is subject to change.
