Position Summary: The Multimedia Content Producer, as a member of the Programming team, is responsible for creating, distributing and publishing daily engaging digital content to all of FSTV’s digital and broadcast platforms. This full-time hybrid schedule opportunity is for immediate hire and will operate from the organization’s headquarters in sunny, vibrant Denver, Colorado
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Executing daily content plans (editing and publishing short video clips from various daily/weekly hosts) that maximize audience engagement and customer experience on all digital channels (including FSTV website, youtube, OTT/streaming apps, and social media)
- Producing high-quality, entertaining and engaging, original digital content packages (images, videos, etc.) for our website, social media, Youtube channel, and OTT/streaming apps as a way to grow an audience. Includes utilizing brand management best practices to produce effective online graphics and content
- Assisting the Program Director and other members of the content team in curating/aggregating partner content for digital and broadcast distribution, including but not limited to creating trailers/promos, clips, and other supplemental content as needed
- Reviewing submitted media files for quality control
- Writing content descriptions
- Working with the content team to develop and execute program launch strategies
- Assisting in maintaining relationships with content contributors, distributors and filmmakers in conjunction with Program Director
- Maintaining a database of contacts, programs and rights while representing FSTV with integrity, respect and the highest standards in developing content partner relationships

Requirements:
- At least one to two years experience working in a professional creative services & video production environment
- Skilled in video capturing techniques, post-production & graphic design principles
- Must have intermediate skills with video editing and graphic design–Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
- Multimedia Journalism (MMJ) experience with basic understanding of news writing, journalistic ethics and story structure preferred
- Passion and curiosity for brand storytelling and solid project coordination skills
- Personal commitment to FSTV’s values and its vision of a multiracial democracy
- Familiarity of social justice organizations, movements and progressive content creators
- An understanding and familiarity of the intersectionality of social, racial, economic, and environmental justice issues, and a passion for the network’s movement-building mission
FLSA Status: Fulltime, Non-Exempt

Location: Denver, CO (currently hybrid)
Travel: Occasional travel is required
Compensation: $48,000-$50,000 annually, commensurate with experience
