Open Media is hiring a full time production specialist and support technician to help us continue to improve our Open.Media Software as a Service (SaaS) while managing our live government productions.
Manage The Colorado Channel
-January-May: Produce/Direct the live coverage of Colorado’s House & Senate
-January-May: Manage Colorado Channel Staff and Interns
-Facilitate production of educational content for the channel
-Create agendas and manage meetings with the Colorado Channel Authority Board
Manage Cherry Hills Village Live Streamed Meetings
-Produce/Direct bi-weekly city council meetings
-Agenda timestamp and QC meeting videos
Assist Nonprofit Video Production Team
-Shoot & Edit nonprofit messaging videos
-Participate in team meetings
-Live stream events
-Answer questions and help Governments create live streaming workflows with our SaaS
-Guide Governments in setting up hardware to stream meetings
-Provide excellent and timely customer service
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The Video Production Specialist & Support Technician role is full time with a salary of $40,000 per year and employer-sponsored Health Insurance available. Open Media offers all staff a flexible PTO policy that includes a paid sabbatical after three years.
Employees also receive free access to all of the Foundation’s video, audio, and studio production equipment, plus professional development and unlimited access to Open Media’s training programs.
