Newscast Director

Sinclair Broadcast Group/Chattanooga needs a Director for our newscasts.

Responsibilities:             

Perform any production duties as assigned including:                                 

• Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions using production automation technology
• Supervise production crew on a daily basis
• Maintain production studio and control room
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned
• Multi-camera field production as assigned

Requirements:        

• Experience directing newscasts
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Knowledge of Overdrive automation is preferred
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew, while under pressure
• Ability to read and write
• A college degree is preferred
• Must be able to lift and position equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
