Bloomberg New Economy is looking for a 12-month contractor to play a key role in its next chapter of growth. Building on the success of three annual Forums, we are growing our media footprint, the portfolio of offerings, the number of convenings, our IP and thought leadership, and the community of partners. Our mission to forge common ground between East and West for a more sustainable, equitable world is more urgent than ever!
This individual will play a key role in the establishment and impact of four New Economy Councils (trade, climate, cities, and health), and work with our Partner team in developing the content, curating the participants, and designing and executing the experience for our Partner sessions before and at the New Economy Forum. These sessions are programmed around economic, geopolitical, and/or technological areas of focus of interest to our Founding Partners.
Bloomberg New Economy Councils are invitation-only working groups, composed of diverse, high-level subject matter experts and innovators, who convene several times during the year and at the forum in November. Councils are essential for us in discussing and highlighting the key trends and ground breaking innovations (from technology to creative government policies) that are shaping the post-Covid world and the new economy. They serve as a year-round braintrust to help shape the forum agenda, and to spark publicly disseminated thought leadership and outputs that guide our community and broader audiences in tackling the urgent challenges we face.
This position will require creativity, curiosity, collaboration, resourcefulness, flexibility, and a can-do attitude.
