A Better Way to Find Qualified Candidates for Your Open Positions
Finding the right candidate can be a time-consuming process, but if there’s one thing that all great companies have in common, it’s that they work hard to find great talent. And here at the Emma Bowen Foundation, we work hard to provide it.
For decades, the Emma Bowen Foundation has been recruiting, training and placing young professionals of color into paid, multi-year internships at top media companies around the country. We have support from more than 75 corporate and nonprofit partners, and we have provided internships for more than 1,000 students.
Now, EBF is taking its commitment to building a more diverse media industry one step further with the Candidate Finder, a new tool designed to help EBF partner companies source and identify talented candidates for open positions.
The Candidate Finder not only lists the available EBF seniors and alumni, but also shares key information that’s most important to you and your recruiters:
- Candidate information, including college, major, details about internship experience
- Resumes
- Recorded HireVue interviews in which you can “meet” the student and listen to their experiences first-hand, what motivates them, challenges they’ve faced, and more
- Candidate’s ability to relocate and geographic preferences, if any
“Our continued goal is to connect our partners with talent, and we are always exploring new and innovative ways to do so,” says Emma Bowen Foundation President and CEO Dr. Rahsaan Harris. “The Candidate Finder is unique in that it is dynamic, interactive and easy for anyone to use. The feedback from partners has been overwhelmingly positive thus far, and we are excited for potential impact this can have one or two years down the road.”
Candidates are organized by EBF’s three program tracks (Content of Media; Business of Media; Innovation of Media), making it easier for you to quickly locate the skill set most suitable for the job you’re trying to fill.
The electronic database is free to use for all EBF partner companies. Interested in joining your peers and taking advantage of this free benefit? Become an Emma Bowen partner today.
