CBS 6 NEWS is looking for 4 interns. CBS6 has a long history of being the news leader in New York's Capital Region. It's the direct result of hard work by our staff, production crew and highly skilled journalists. Intern candidates must demonstrate an ability to shoot and edit video, a strong knowledge of the day's news and the ability to problem solve in the field.

Experience:
Producer Internship. Producer Interns will work closely with our newscast producers, get hands on experience building newscasts and learn how to write compelling stories for broadcast.
Investigative Reporter internship. Investigative Reporter interns will work closely with our reporters; learn how to conduct in-depth research (including filing Freedom of Information Law requests) and get hands-on experience covering stories that impact viewers' lives.
Photographer Internship. Photographer interns will work closely with our photojournalists, learn how news stories are shot and get hands-on experience covering stories that impact viewers' lives.
Sports Internship. Sports Interns will work closely with our sports department, get experience in the field covering local high school and college sporting events and learn what it takes to create an action-packed sports segment.
Requirements:
Must be a student of a fully accredited college and receive academic credit for the internship.
