We're hiring a Research/Planning Coordinator to join the team behind LiveNOW from FOX, FOX TV Stations’ national live streaming news product. Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Research/Planning Coordinator will focus on the future, planning coverage of important news and events weeks and even months in advance, in coordination with key players across FOX.

The person we're looking for is a proactive, resourceful, meticulously-organized journalist who is always thinking two (or 12?) steps ahead. If that’s you, we need you on this team.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan future coverage around major news events and stories, including developing segments, arranging interviews, coordinating live feeds and securing other relevant content. Contribute to and assist in managing group editorial calendar. Research potential stories and guests, regularly providing a comprehensive list of possible story ideas for on-air team. Closely coordinate with partners at FTS stations and around FOX to secure access to the best possible content. Connect with potential guests and contributors to help build relationships for future coverage opportunities. Keep platform marketing and sales teams in the loop on planning and future opportunities to highlight coverage of key events. Stay up-to-date on news and current events. Adhere to journalistic standards. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years experience of editorial planning/producing for a news organization preferred. BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications or related field. Tech-savvy multitasker with excellent communication and networking skills. Superior news judgment. Impeccable organization and planning skills. Unparalleled attention to detail. Proficient in tools used for web-based newsgathering tools, content creation and monitoring digital analytics. Social media expert. Thrive under pressure. Varied hours including weekends and holidays as required. Will consider remote work from Phoenix, Orlando or other east coast location.
