We are looking for an ambitious, customer-service oriented, 6-month contractor who can manage custom campaigns from start to finish, including large-scale, integrated programs. We’ll trust you to:

-Work cross-functionally with Sales, Strategy, Creative, Media Planning, Finance, Ad Operations, Data Science & Insights, Editorial and Events
-Develop detailed project plans / timelines and manage cross-functional teams to deliver work that is on strategy, time and budget
-Build strong, trusting relationships and own communications with clients, agencies and colleagues across different departments

-Collaborate with appropriate teams to identify upsell opportunities and help pitch clients on new engagements
-Update internal systems with required project updates

You’ll need to have:

-7-10 years experience in an account management, project management or integrated production role at a publishing company or agency
-Experience driving results and growth in line with company objectives and goals

Consumer Insights and Research Project Manager

Horowitz Research, a leading consumer insights and market research firm, is searching for a Consumer Insights and Research Project Manager. We are well-known for our media industry and multicultural expertise, and we are actively expanding into other verticals including health care, diversity and inclusion, hospitality, and retail.

Our Consumer Insights and Research Project Managers are highly detail-oriented researchers who can contextualize research within the broader business ecosystem to extract key trends and insights. Projects may include: customer satisfaction, usability, program testing and development, marketing/advertising ideation and effectiveness, branding/ positioning, market potential, and pricing and packaging. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage research projects: Oversee the execution of research projects from study design to final reporting and analysis. This includes identifying, engaging, and managing the appropriate research vendors, overseeing testing of programs, developing banner and tab plans, and serving as the main client contact for the duration of the project;
  • Questionnaire design and report writing: Writing and reviewing questionnaires and moderator’s guides, developing and reviewing quantitative and qualitative reports;
  • Uncover insights and tell stories from the research: Go beyond reporting of data to provide clients with the strategic narratives and actionable insights they need to make business decisions;
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction: Ensure client needs are met and their questions are answered in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in market research, with experience in client-facing roles

  • Knowledge of sampling and the survey fielding process
  • Pro-active, must be a team player and be able to work with a wide range of personalities
  • A proven track record of managing and prioritizing multiple projects on time and on budget

• Work directly with Creative Directors, in house designers and external vendors to create on brand materials that support 360 marketing initiatives and move our business forward.
• Effectively partner with peers and internal clients to ensure work meets creative and strategic standards appropriate to the target audiences and brand.
• Partnering with the Sr. Creative Director, Motion Design, you will help oversee every phase of the creative process from the creative brief to development and execution all the way through to delivery
• Collaborate with other creative directors, motion designers, producers, and editors on creative ideation and exploration, executing new designs and animations.
• You will concept, manage and execute industry leading creative on projects ranging from On-Air Promos, Brand Creative, Sizzle Reels, Digital and Social content to Ad Sales initiatives, Marketing Campaigns, Corporate Presentations and other internal client needs.

Required Qualifications


• 7+ years’ experience as part of an in-house entertainment team or design agency managing, designing and animating entertainment creative.

• Undergraduate degree with major in Graphic Arts or Design
• Experience creating concept mood boards, pitch decks and presenting to internal teams
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while staying within budget
• Advanced/expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and 3rd party plug-ins
• Advanced knowledge of current motion graphic trends and practices
• Solid understanding of file structure and project workflow
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic IT and technical issues as they arise
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to manage and juggle multiple projects and pivot when necessary
• Must be able to share a reel, portfolio, website, or links of current work when applying
