Bloomberg is seeking a passionate and creative Social Producer with digital news experience to lead content distribution and audience growth for TicToc, a global news network for the social, mobile, streaming world. You will be responsible for managing our flagship accounts across Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, covering the day's top stories, monitoring breaking news, packaging and optimizing stories for social and producing social content. You should have video production and editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as exceptional writing skills. You will be trusted to produce videos for multiple social platforms ranging from breaking news, animations/gifs and short text-on-screen clips to help us cover the biggest stories from around the world. You will be responsible for pitching and executing innovative and unique angles on the stories our audience cares about most. You should have a remarkable ability to distill a 3-minute video or a 300 word story down to a single captivating sentence, engaging the reader and persuading them to view, reply, RT and/or like.

You have impeccable news judgement and can work under pressure in a fast-paced news environment. You have experience publishing to social platforms, as well as creating captivating narratives via Instagram stories, Twitter threads and Twitter moments. The right candidate is passionate about social media and is an expert in optimization best practices on each platform. A passion for analytics and ability to analyze data to make informed decisions is a must, as well as experience using SocialFlow, CrowdTangle and Adobe Creative Suite.

Paid Social Campaign Manager

Bloomberg Media is looking for a Paid Social Campaign Manager to run all paid campaigns for Bloomberg news and our TicToc brand. You will be tasked with creating campaign strategy, trafficking campaigns and managing bids across all our social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, among others).

You will also be in charge of scaling our paid content and working with editorial teams to identify day to day big stories and utilizing data to continuously iterate on best practices. Other responsibilities include data analysis of all marketing campaigns and presentation of results and ideas to senior management.
You should have a commanding knowledge of Facebook Business manager, as well as excellent communication and quantitative skills. You should also be able to examine post copy and help our brand manager with creative input and feedback. Ability to speak to product and engineers about pixel issues and social media audiences greatly desired. In addition, we expect you to have an entrepreneurial and growth mindset and the ability to work cross functionally with a team that is relatively new to consumer marketing.

Reporting to the Senior Managing Editor, the Senior Broadcast Producer is responsible for developing and shaping production of all live newscasts, shows and recorded video segments for television news broadcast.   The Senior Broadcast Producer oversees the production/control room team, managing all stages of the production process from story development through post-production.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manages news broadcast, overseeing all aspects of production including production teams, scheduling, assigning stories, reviewing and approving scripts;

A talented Associate Producer, Digital is needed to join the  team working closely with the series production team, external producers, and content partners to create content that engages audiences across social media, mobile and web platforms.  The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience writing, producing, sourcing information, collecting digital assets, publishing, and producing and editing digital video for social and digital platforms. 

Reporting to the Digital Lead, the Associate Producer, Digital oversees content and asset production across various digital and social media platforms. The Associate Producer, Digital will work closely with our Series Producers, Digital and Audience Engagement teams to create digital content that engages and drives broadcast and streaming views. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Produce multiple content pieces per week in collaboration with the American Masters team, optimized for multiple distribution platforms, eventually ensuring that new content is available online daily;
  • Serve as an audience-focused editor on content created by others on the team;
  • Manage timely and accurate updates to the American Masters site and other proprietary PBS platforms (upload video, maintain information related to new and upcoming episodes, update schedule, etc.);

Business Intelligence Intern

Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, understands the importance of keeping a system up-to-date and accurate, loves new programs, enjoys coding, and building new tools. We want a team member that is comfortable learning through trial and error with a knack for figuring out how to use a new system with limited training. This is a full-time internship with the potential to lead to full-time, permanent employment for the right candidate.

 

Job responsibilities would be split between keeping our every day Microsoft Dynamics system up-to-date and building new dashboards with that data in Microsoft PowerBI. These two systems go together – the ideal candidate would be as devoted to keeping the everyday system up-to-date as they are in building new dashboards to understand business trends.  

 

Microsoft Dynamics Responsibilities:

  • Cleans the data in our Microsoft Dynamics system to ensure dashboards can be built and data remains up-to-date, including running error reports
  • Makes updates to Dynamics for internal teams, i.e. creating new workflows, adding new fields, etc.
  • Responsible for creating opportunities and keeping them up-to-date in the system.
  • Works closely with sellers to fix new business opportunity lapsed dates and track developments.
  • Creates new projects and updates the project fields based on proposal information.
  • Takes the lead in forecasting out revenue for opportunities and projects, including pushing back opportunity revenue that will lapse.
  • Keep track of upcoming CPA Retainers for renewal at the opportunity level and ensure revenue is accurately forecasted.
  • Works closely with the head of Practice Operations to ensure the research plan in Dynamics is accurate and forecasting revenue correctly based on likelihood to win the primary.

 

Microsoft PowerBI Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage our Business Intelligence platform (Microsoft PowerBI).
  • Work closely with the team to build real-time dashboards.
  • Build a strong understanding of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform (Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)).
  • Deliver technical and end-user documentation for all deliverables.

 

Qualifications

  • Working towards undergraduate degree in quantitative field preferred (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Physics)
