seeking a Staff Accountant to support our our 6 New York stations. This
position reports directly to the Market Controller of CBS Radio New York.
• Perform month-end and year-end
closing activities including the preparation of journal entries and general
ledger account analysis and reconciliations.
• Report monthly
financial performance and variance analysis.
• Compile and calculate
monthly sales commission statements.

Television broadcast engineer needed to operate and maintain a wide variety of computer-based and IP-enabled equipment throughout the TV station, in support of News and Production operations. To be a successful candidate for this position, you should have formal training in computer science, electronics, or broadcast engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in one of these fields. Additionally, good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a technical team are required. A professional certification, such as a General Class FCC license, CompTIA Network +, SBE CBNT/CBNE, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE while not required, would be a major plus. Local travel is occasionally necessary for this position, along with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
