MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Television broadcast engineer needed to operate and maintain a wide variety of computer-based and IP-enabled equipment throughout the TV station, in support of News and Production operations. To be a successful candidate for this position, you should have formal training in computer science, electronics, or broadcast engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in one of these fields. Additionally, good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a technical team are required. A professional certification, such as a General Class FCC license, CompTIA Network +, SBE CBNT/CBNE, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE while not required, would be a major plus. Local travel is occasionally necessary for this position, along with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays. The ability to work from time to time on short (>12ft) ladders, and to lift up to 40 lbs. is also required.

Two years experience as a newscast producer. Working knowledge of libel laws and journalistic ethics. College degree preferred in related communications field. Social media skills.
