WFLD/WPWR is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting,and problem solving of all equipment associated with 24/7 television operations; e.g., maintenance of automated Master Control, Studio, Automated Production Control Rooms, Remote Production ENG, Post Production, Newsroom Video Playback and Archive solution and satellite distribution systems. Technician will assist in system design, construction and commissioning of new technologies at studio, transmitter, and remote facilities. Additionally, IT experience within a television station with knowledge including, networks, switches, routers, network wiring and other devices and systems that may cross-over between IT and television broadcasting.
