Experience: Responsibilities include: Operation of studio cameras Operation of teleprompter Audio operation for News shows and other broadcasts Providing assistance with logistical setup of on-air shows Providing assistance to the News department to ensure high-quality newscasts Audio operation for News shows and other broadcasts Graphics creation for newscasts as needed Providing assistance to the News department to ensure high-quality newscasts Providing assistance to newscast directors Providing clear communication with all staff members Skills: Knowledge of production standards and equipment Live audio experience extremely helpful Graphics experience helpful Ability to communicate and perform duties while under pressure Typing and good spelling skills necessary Ability to read and write, college degree preferred Must be able to lift & position 40 pound lighting instruments Must have valid driver’s license with clean record Strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred Applicant should be extremely dependable, prompt and have a positive demeanor
Requirements: Education/Experience Level: Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred Training will be provided General Hours: PM shift 5-6 days per week Must be able to work on weekends Other hours as needed, on occasion
